CHOOSING A WATER STORAGE CONTAINER
Water Preserver ™ Concentrate
has been tested and found to preserve
and keep water bacteriologically safe for a period of five years
when used with the proper storage container.
Containers or drums: New food grade meeting 'DOT-34' or 'UN' specifications.
FOOD GRADE MATERIAL:
Virgin materials no recycle of colored materials.
Containers must meet the requirements of the Food and Drug Administration
guidelines for items intended for use in contact with food.
CLOSURE: Containers must not be vented and use a gasket of approved material
for contact with food items and provide a airtight seal. Plugs must be of a quality and strength
and threaded to prevent leakage and provide an airtight seal.
Caution: Use only solid caps plugs or bungs. Pumps, faucets, spigots, etc. must
not be used as closures - airtight seal can not be achieved.
Markings: UN or DOT 34 markings approved/tested.
Testing; Containers must withstand abuse, outside storage, vibration,
leakage, static pressure and compression.
Containers must provide protection from ultra violet light UV.
Protection must be provided for the life of contents.
